Sai Baba of Shirdi, also known as Shirdi Sai Baba was an Indian spiritual leader who is regarded by his devotees as a saint, a fakir, a satguru and an incarnation (avatar) of God. He was revered by both his Hindu and Muslim devotees during, as well as after his life. He stressed the importance of surrender to the true Satguru, who, having trod the path to divine consciousness, will lead the disciple through the jungle of spiritual training.Sai Baba also condemned distinction based on religion or caste. The Shirdi Sai Baba movement began in the 19th century,while he was living in Shirdi. A local Khandoba priest, Mhalsapati Nagre, is believed to have been his first devotee.In the 19th century, Sai Baba's followers were only a small group of inhabitants of Shirdi, and a few people from other parts of India.
One of my experience with Baba, in May 2009, I was reading Sai Sat Charithra I was reading the book daily one story, just like that with out any goal or purpose, it was 40th day, I was driving and on the way back to home from work, I was thinking about baba while driving carefully, at that time suddenly I experienced baba sitting in the passenger seat, when his energy entered into the car, my body and soul went into very divine and complete happiness condition, I slowly pulled my car to the right side shoulder, for about 5 to 7 minutes that happiness stayed with me, That moment was the most happy moment in my life, I wish I can enter into that mind status for ever to experience the divine happiness, Baba energy is for real, just call him with out any purpose, with out begging him anything for worldly pleasure and just to feel his presence, his energy will come and spend some time with us.
